We are the group set-up to bring together local sportsmen, women and clubs to compete under the Orkney flag at the NatWest Island Games.
The international sporting event is held every two years and Orkney has been represented at all of the Games since they started in the Isle of Man in 1985. The sheer size and quality of the Games has grown every year and now international standard athletes from 24 islands - from Aland to Alderney, Falkland Islands to the Faroes - meet for a week of intense competition.
To compete in Orkney colours against island groups from across the world is arguably the greatest honour in local sport and this website will remind you of past glories and the potential for future success.
On this website you'll find all the latest information on Team Orkney and the local Games Association. Whether you're a potential competitor, volunteer or sponsor, keep in touch with news and developments from the OIGA here.
